THE Geophysical Institute of Israel (GII) has performed a 2D and 3D seismic survey project, conducted in Cabinda, Angola for ROC OIL Company in the years 2006 and 2007.

MDV Group was contracted by GII to provide the following services:

• Surveying of approximately 1,800 km in a savanna area. Clearing in the savanna was performed by bulldozers and wheeled loaders led by MDV Group’s experts.

• Surveying of approximately 1,200 km in a jungle area. Clearing in the forest was carried out by cutting crews led by MDV Group’s topographers.

MDV Group's staff for this project was composed of 14 Israeli professional land surveyors and 100 Angolan non - professional workers, who were sourced from the surrounding villages. Over 20 4X4 vehicles were used to execute the project. MDV Group has established for this project a fully equipped technical office in Cabinda, that supported the whole operation.
